Trader Controls
Know what each control means.
Trader controls are product-mode controls, not a shortcut around backend risk gates or live-trading configuration.
Off, Observe, Dry Run, and Live Autonomous
Off means no automated product activity. Observe means status and context only. Dry Run means simulated decisions without live orders.
Live Autonomous remains unavailable unless the protected backend confirms every required safety setting. It is not enabled by default.
Activate, Pause, and Deactivate
Activate starts a protected confirmation flow. Pause stops automated activity. Deactivate reinforces a stopped state and requires explicit confirmation for dangerous safety changes.
The kill switch is stronger
The kill switch blocks trading actions. Product controls cannot override it, and deactivation remains gated by typed confirmation and backend safety configuration.
